PAAL

Our Mission
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Police Athletic & Activities League is a nonprofit youth development program founded in 1984. PAAL strives to reduce violence, arrests, and inactivity for the youth of Montgomery County.  Through prosocial programming and fostering positivewebsitepaal
relationship with deputies, PAAL provides the opportunity for our youth to view law enforcement in a positive way and realize their potential as productive members of society.

Studies have shown that when a young person respects a police officer on the ball field, in the gym, or in a classroom, the youth will likely come to respect the laws that police officers enforce. Such respect is beneficial not only to the youth, but to law enforcement, neighborhoods, and the community.

MCSO PAAL is proud to partner with the STARS Program
Student Taking a Real Stand is a prevention program for local schools and other youth-based programs led by law enforcement.
